Music film Festival Sheffield Doc/Fest, which each year in the same British city of Sheffield (82) is held, has a new documentary about Bill Wyman, former bassist of the Rolling Stones, eliminated. That happened after persistent complaints that the film festival a platform would give to a pedophile.
‘The Quiet One’, as the documentary about the life of Bill Wyman is called, it would be in June its European premiere at the film festival. But the organization got so many complaints to handle, that they have decided the film wasn’t more to show. According to the opponents should the docu be a pedophile glorify and the festival would that be as in hand work.
In the documentary also discussed how the former Rolling Stone to his later wife, Mandy Smith against the body ran in 1984. When he was 47, but she was barely 13 years old. Later, Mandy himself admitted that the two first sheets have shared when she was only 14 years old. The couple married in 1989, when she was 18 and he 52. In 1991, the couple in all the silence from each other.
“the Hideous, humiliating, disappointing”, threw a critic during a question/answer conversation with the creators of the documentary. Or also: “You would be wise to do the line-up of the festival to rethink it. This is not appropriate.”
Corpse in the closet
In 2013, Wyman, incidentally, by the police, questioned about his relationship with Mandy Smith. The Rolling Stone said that he was not interested and that “everyone does seem to be in the closet.” “In my case, it was just published and I don’t think that was fair”.
