Gebroeders Kamphuis emerge victorious in village boules tournament in Alteveer-Kerkenveld
Jeu de Boules tournament at De Alke. Photo: Henk Sieders Jeu de Boules Association De Alke, located next to the village hall De Alke, hosted an open village tournament on Monday and Tuesday evenings. This tournament was organized for residents from both villages. It was the first time the tournament had taken place since the COVID-19 pandemic hit. The tournament had previously been put on hold, but this year it was back on track. The association reported that it was a success right from the start. For two evenings, nearly twenty teams from both villages competed for the top prize. In the end, the Kamphuis brothers emerged as the winners. The association looks back on a couple of successful evenings.
