The best of the web, The Indonesian airline Garuda offers the passengers new entertainment on board: live concerts. It wants thus to say that millennials seduced “which is a different kind of flying experience”. Acoustic live music at 10 km height, it is indeed something else than, say, a opgeknipte B-movie from two years ago.
The first concert is already behind us: it was Wednesday during a flight from the Indonesian capital of Jakarta to the holiday island of Bali. Two musicians got on board to be high in the air, a set to play. Garuda wants, as also emerging talents to promote. It comes to miniconcertjes of 10 to 15 minutes on some domestic flights. Those who don’t like it, so should in principle not too long to suffer.
