The practice had frequently to be discontinued because of the occurrence of the darkness. Even then, I had planned to have a contest in the late hours of the night. There was went looking for luminous golf equipment which was then tested by the members of the sports committee.”
The intention was to initially to the first nachtwedstrijd in a small group to test and evaluate, but by the curiosity of the members, this plan straight to the trash reference. There were about 60 people in the crowded evening match.
The first edition of ‘WaseGolf by Night’ was a colorful light show. The victory went to the ladies to Sandra Smet, in the mens case organizer Andy Van Landeghem gold. A 2nd edition is in between already in the making.
