Grimbergen The 93-year-old Henri Pauwels from Strombeek-Bever is Friday morning with the shock released after he was on his own driveway got stuck in his overturned car. The unfortunate man made a wrong maneuver when a vehicle exit his driveway blocked. Henri was by the bystanders out of the car removed and does no wounds, but the garage had to be propped up.

Grabbing the hair was Henri Pauwels – slightly in shock Friday morning to his overturned car on the driveway in the Kasteeldreef in Strombeek-Bever to look. Just before, was the man still stuck in his Citroën C4. “We were about to leave for the physiotherapist in Schaerbeek”, does his wife Josette the story. “As always, drove my husband to the car backwards in the garage and I stood on the footpath to guide him. Our driveway is quite steep and that makes it not easy to take to the streets to drive. But this time it was even harder, for a street parked car blocked part of the exit of our house. My husband tried to use the driveway to drive, but threatened it against a wall to collide. I exhorted him to go forward to drive and try again. During that maneuver, he pushed suddenly, violently on the gas instead of the brake pedal.”
