Science & Planet There is hope for Maya Bay, one of the most famous beaches of the holiday paradise of Thailand. Now the tourists already eight months have been banned from ‘The Beach’, the nature slowly but surely to recover. The corals begin to grow again, and a large group of reef sharks in the bay, found a home.
It was for years one of the most popular beaches in the world, with thousands of tourists per day which is over the sand strolled: Maya Bay, or ‘The Beach’ of the eponymous film with Leonardo DiCaprio.
