The French carmaker PSA has made in the past year, thanks to Opel record levels in sales and earnings. Even Opel itself writes to many high-loss years, back in the black.
Opel last year reached an operating profit of 859 million euros, with a turnover of 18.3 billion euros. This corresponded to a margin of 4.7 per cent. The former General Motors subsidiary Opel had previously reported its British sister brand Vauxhall since 1999, there is no benefit for a full year.
