Cédric Jimenez, winner of the César for high school students for Bac Nord (2022), is in the process of filming a documentary film on Emmanuel Macron, according to La Tribune Dimanche, which specifies that this project is (was), until its revelation, supposed remain secret.

This feature film should particularly focus on the 2022 presidential campaign and the first two years of the second term of the 8th President of the Fifth Republic. Still according to our colleagues from La Tribune, it would be the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian army, which would have pushed the director of Novembre and the head of state to want to go beyond the simple relationship of the last electoral campaign, which saw Emmanuel Macron win against Marine Le Pen (RN) in the second round of the national vote. It should also be noted that the project for this “political” film had been suggested in a brief in Le Point magazine before the elections in 2021.

In order to flesh out his feature-length documentary, Cédric Jimenez followed, camera in hand, Emmanuel Macron during his official trips, notably to Qatar for the 2022 World Cup, his diplomatic representations and finally during his recent trips to France, before and after the presidential campaign.

A feature film classified for the moment, almost “defense secret”, the release date of this documentary, which should arouse a number of comments both on the form and on the substance, is not known.
