According to the sheriff’s office, Cole Brings Plenty was seen driving in his Ford Explorer SUV, following an alleged domestic violence incident on Sunday (March 31). Officers had received reports of a woman screaming for help at an apartment in Lawrence. Last week, the actor’s friends and family feared the worst. Uncle Moses Brings Plenty, a major character in the Yellowstone series who also appeared in 1923, had launched a wanted notice on his Instagram account.

On Friday, April 5, shortly before noon, “officers were dispatched to check on an unoccupied vehicle in an area approximately [50 kilometers] southwest of Kansas City, Kansas. They discovered the body of the 27-year-old man in an adjacent wooded area,” reports NBC News. The causes of his death have not yet been communicated. “Our office continues to investigate this incident and I will update you if I learn more,” said McKenzi Davis, spokesperson for the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

According to information circulating on social networks, the young man was found with cut hair. For many, her braids symbolized her belonging to the Native American community. In addition, Internet users also highlighted the fact that his sister, Kyla Mercy, died under similar conditions in August 2023.
