The official selection was announced by the president of the 2023 edition Iris Knobloch and the director of the Cannes Film Festival Thierry Frémaux. “After a record year” in terms of audiences for the films presented on the Croisette last year, and in particular Anatomy of a Fall by Justine Triet, the last Palme d’Or, Iris Knobloch hopes to see the 2024 edition triumph again.
