Two techno popesses, Nina Kraviz and Ellen Allien, to blow out the candles: the Dream Nation electro festival celebrates its tenth anniversary on Friday September 15 and Saturday September 16, from dusk to dawn in the Paris region.
Considered one of the major events in the current and electronic music sector, the festival has established itself since 2014 as the largest electronic mass in the Ile-de-France region. In addition to the international stars – the Russian Nina Kraviz and the German Ellen Allien – two French collectives are eagerly awaited, Bagarre, closing the Vieilles Charrues festival two years ago and Salut C’est Cool, artisans of a techno that rides on the rim of irony.
Previously organized at the Bourget exhibition center, this year the meeting is migrating its stages to the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center in a 100% open-air format. Light shows, “postapocalyptic” decors, video projections and performers are also on the program for an “immersive experience which traces the codes and values of electro culture” as the organizers promise.
In addition to music, the festival offers art installations and recycled materials, a thrill ride, bumper cars, as well as various stands including a thrift store and a tattoo parlor. Places are still available online, at prices of 52.90 euros for one evening and 86.90 euros for two days.
