Laughter to help earthquake victims. On October 2, the Show Solidarité Maroc will be held at the Dôme de Paris. This show, put on in support of the victims of the disaster, will feature Gad Elmaleh, Redouane Bougheraba and Roman Frayssinet.

The entire proceeds will be paid to “Fund 126” set up by the Moroccan government to manage the effects of the earthquake. The last known toll reported more than 2,900 dead and around 5,500 injured.

According to Le Parisien, the three heavyweights of French-speaking humor were together in Monaco the day after the tragedy. All very affected by the event, the actors seek to find a way to concretely support the Moroccan people. “We said why not join forces and give all the money from our pranks to Morocco? It came together naturally,” Redouane Bougheraba told Le Parisien.

Once a common date is found, the comedians start looking for a place that can suit their idea of ​​performance. Gad Elmaleh, born in Morocco, chose the Dôme de Paris which can accommodate more than 5,000 people. The price of places is between 75 and 300 euros. “We hope to raise around half a million euros by monetizing our jokes in this way,” confides Redouane Bougheraba. The show should last more than 1 hour 30 minutes in the end.
