On May 25, 2010, he gave a last concert in Bercy and no one imagined that we would not see him in France for such a long time. Fourteen years later, Eric Clapton will perform again on the stage of the Parisian omnisport palace on May 26 and 27, 2024, then on May 29 in Lyon at the Arena de Décines, near Lyon, before the evening of May 31 at the arenas Nimes.

For years, the British artist, star of the group Cream in the 1960s, has been making his guitar roar in concert halls around the world. At 78 years old, the one that fans also call “God” still remains very popular, although his positions on vaccination against Covid-19 have created controversy. In music, however, Eric Clapton makes everyone agree. For many, he is one of the greatest guitarists in history, a movement he left his mark on with his different groups: the Yardbirds, Bluesbreakers and Cream.

Eric Clapton sold around a hundred guitars. This week, one of the most iconic guitars in his collection should go under the hammer at Julien’s Auction, during an auction organized from November 16 to 18 in Nashville. Decorated with psychedelic motifs, The Fool experienced Eric Clapton’s finest hours within the Cream trio between 1966 and 1968. It will be on sale at the same time as Kurt Cobain’s Skystang I, the last guitar used by the leader of Nirvana, March 1, 1994 in Munich.
