Until Sunday, the Tous à l’Opéra operation celebrates opera and dance in twenty-eight cities, with the participation of thirty institutions. Launched in 2007, this meeting opens the doors of the lyrical stages to all audiences and free of charge. Stéphanie d’Oustrac, sponsor of the 16th edition this year, succeeds Nathalie Stutzmann. “I find it a pity that so many people have never entered an opera house. They say it’s not for them, that it’s too expensive…”, notes the mezzo-soprano in an interview. As every year, the event encourages the public to get rid of prejudices and push the doors of institutions in search of new audiences. This season will be themed “Imaginaries in the making”.

The event will be concentrated on the Palais Garnier, which will open its doors on Saturday May 6 to the public. Upon reservation, it will be possible to attend a public bar given by Andrey Klemm, teacher of the Ballet company in the grand foyer.
