Jean-Jacques Goldman unbeatable. For the seventh consecutive year, the king of French song remains the favorite personality of the French, according to the top 50 published on December 31 by Le Journal du Dimanche and carried out by an Ifop survey among a representative sample of 1,000 people. Singers, actors, chefs, athletes, comedians… And only one sacred politician – on the closed list of 93 personalities submitted to the vote of those surveyed -, the president of the National Rally, Jordan Bardella.

Very medial in 2023, singer Florent Pagny has apparently touched the French with his fight against cancer: he is positioned in second place in the ranking (4). Respectively 3rd and 4th, Thomas Pesquet and Omar Sy each lost one place. Vianney, 5th, wins 14, relegating Soprano to 6th position. Francis Cabrel climbs to 7th place (5) when Grand Corps Malade (8th), Dany Boon (9th; 12) and Philippe Etchebest (10th; -3) close the top 10.

In the rest of the ranking, some are making an impressive comeback, such as Jean Dujardin (12th; 19), Alexandra Lamy (19th; 35), Virginie Efira (24th; 23) or even Valérie Lemercier (32nd; 32). Others are falling, like footballers Kylian Mbappé (22nd; -18), Antoine Griezmann (26th; -15) and Olivier Giroud (48th; -39). The effect of a year without a major meeting after the World Cup at the end of 2022?

Without being in the leading pack, finally, some remain stable: Michel Sardou only loses three places (13th), the chef Cyril Lignac only loses one (14th), just like the French football king Zidane ( 16th). Jean-Jacques Goldman, however, has cause for concern: young people are the only ones not to have placed him at the top of their ranking. They prefer Omar Sy.
