The leader of the legendary rock group Guns N’ Roses Axl Rose, the American William Bruce Rose, whose real name is, is accused of sexual assault in 1989 by an American model, Sheila Kennedy, according to a court document in New York revealed by the specialized press. According to this civil complaint filed on November 22, Axl Rose, now 62 years old, is responsible for “sexual assault” and “violence” against Sheila Kennedy, a model in the 1980s and who is the same age as her alleged attacker. The facts allegedly occurred in 1989 in a New York hotel room, after a meeting in a nightclub.
Sheila Kennedy, also born in 1962, posed and was one of the stars of the American erotic magazine Penthouse in 1983, is also an actress. “Rose targeted Kennedy in 1989 when he was at the height of his commercial success” with the legendary hard rock group Guns N’ Roses, supports the complaint targeted by the New York justice system. “Rose used her fame, status and power as a celebrity and artist in the music industry to be able to manipulate, control and sexually and violently assault Kennedy,” according to the complaint before the court. “As a result of Rose’s sexual assault, Kennedy suffered emotional, physical, financial and psychological distress,” the document further notes. The events took place in a hotel room after a meeting and initial consensual exchanges which degenerated, according to the complainant.
