An alleged victim of Kevin Spacey has told how the American star put his head on her genitals and sexually assaulted her while she was asleep, during the actor’s trial in London, which continues on Monday. The man, who would be the fourth alleged victim of the actor cannot be identified for legal reasons. He told the police, in an interview broadcast Monday before the jurors of the trial which opposes the actor to several complainants, how he had met the Oscar-winning actor after writing him a letter asking him for help to break into the movie theater.
The 63-year-old star has pleaded not guilty to 12 sexual assault charges against four men between 2001 and 2013, including from 2004 when he was manager of London’s Old Vic theatre.
Kevin Spacey then invited him to his home and the two men ate “pizza leftovers” and “smoked cannabis”. The alleged victim then recounted how the actor ‘started rubbing his head on my genitals’.
The plaintiff explained that he let the actor do it because, “You don’t want to upset someone so powerful in the industry you’re trying to break into.” He also said he fell asleep for a few hours and woke up with his fly open. “He had just performed (a sexual act) on me,” the complainant explained. “None of what happened was consented to,” he continues. Faced with the alleged victim’s expressed refusal after waking up, Kevin Spacey would have asked him to leave immediately and not to tell anyone what had happened, according to the plaintiff.
The trial started at the end of June before the Southwark Crown Court in London. None of the four victims had denounced the actor before the outbreak of the movement
Kevin Spacey, who appears free, denied the charges, saying some were made up and others were consensual. The trial of the American actor, twice Oscar winner for his roles in American Beauty and Usual Suspects should last a month.
