A glittery dinner just before flying to India. On Wednesday, Rihanna and her companion ASAP Rocky were the guests of the President of the Republic and his wife for an evening at the Élysée. The Diamonds singer and the Macrons had already met in 2017.
Kendji Girac and his manager were also part of the small invited committee on rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré. This meeting was organized two days before the start of the Yellow Pieces gala. The 2024 edition was launched on January 23 by Brigitte Macron and Didier Deschamps in Lyon. After the success of the 34th edition last year, Operation Yellow Pieces, a fundraising campaign intended to improve the hospitalization conditions of children and adolescents, will be held until February 4.
A concert event will launch the operation at the Zénith, Friday at the Paris-Bercy-Accor Arena sports center. This year, several international stars will join the announced French artists: ASAP Rocky will share the stage with the group Maroon 5, Pharrell Williams, J Balvin, the K-pop group Stray Kids, Lisa from the group Blackpink… Musicians well known to the French public will also be there, such as Khatia Buniatishvili, Ibrahim Maalouf and Gautier Capuçon, as well as singers like Maître Gims, Kendji Girac, Christine and the Queens, Vianney, Zazie, the group Phoenix… The concert will be rebroadcast on France 2 on Saturday 27 January.
