The blockbuster Super Mario Bros once again overtook the French blockbuster The Three Musketeers – d’Artagnan last week in cinemas, and now exceeds three million admissions, according to figures released Wednesday by CBO Box Office. Super Mario, the first animated film adaptation of a video game produced by Universal, Nintendo and Illumination studios, brought together just over one and a half million spectators for its second week on the big screen.
In second position, The Three Musketeers – D’Artagnan, the first part of a diptych produced by Pathé with François Civil as D’Artagnan, attracted 731,484 people after a dazzling start the previous week. On the third step of the podium, Dungeons
It precedes the new French comedy 10 days still without mom with Franck Dubosc (256,753 admissions) and I will always see your faces, by director Jeanne Herry, which attracted even more spectators (199,416 admissions) for its third week of operation.
