Since the broadcast of the issue of “Complément d’investigation” devoted to Gérard Depardieu, many personalities from the French audiovisual landscape have given their opinion on the accusations against the actor, to defend him or to add elements to charge.
In a column published on December 26 in the columns of our newspaper, more than fifty personalities – artists, writers, film producers – denounced a lynching of the actor. Among which, Nathalie Baye, Pierre Richard and even Carla Bruni. Everyone is calling not to take the place of justice and that this “cinema giant” can continue to play roles in films.

It did not take long to see several public figures deplore this platform. Notably the actress Lucie Lucas who strongly opposed it, pointing the finger at her “cinema mother”, Victoria Abril. The heroine of the TF1 series described this outpouring of solidarity from the profession towards Gérard Depardieu as a “trash platform”.
Wednesday, December 27, Josiane Balasko’s daughter, Marilou Berry, heroine of the series Marianne on France 2, spoke on the social network Threads: “I propose to change our point of view on this list of 50 people who support Depardieu .”

Rather than criticizing the substance of the remarks, the actress preferred to be ironic about her signatories: “Average age: 70 years (in other words it smells like a tree) there are only 50, when we look at the list more closely , we feel that they have made the bottom of the drawers all the same.”
The actress starring in Mystère Place Vendôme (2017), who doesn’t have her tongue in her pocket, allowed herself one last sarcastic remark: “And (not insignificant advantage) it allows you to sort things out much more quickly too… No honestly, seen like that, it’s almost good news.” Concluding her message, Marilou Berry gave her support to Lucie Lucas who, according to her, “dares to open it”.
