‘Children’, Cortellesi and Mastandrea parents between defects and irony: our tribute to Mattia Torre

The birthday parties, the inflatable, the world-class dining in the form, the chat impossible, the scoreboards with the activities to fit in with who leads who and where (soccer, school, dance, catechism), night awakenings and the growth spurts, the pediatre some psychologists from the fee exorbitant, and the box of kleenex at hand, the babysitter is more various: from little girls with the tattoos on the lady’s two women that knows only one dish, the egg to the nock. There is a lot of reality in the film Children , in the lounge on the 23 January in 400 copies, directed by Giuseppe Bonito , who has inherited the project from the Mattia Torre , who died last July a few weeks before the start of the shoot. A reality that is narrated in surreal, where parents, but not only them, you can easily identify which thanks to the chosen form can entertain and reflect. “I found myself in everything, says Paola Cortellesi – in all of the types of parents that are told and in all the situations real and the surreal. Through the irony of Matthias I laughed to myself, it is therapeutic”.
