Dan Rachlin is turned into a real shitstorm on the social media.

In the last week he shared a picture of the Black Lives Matter Denmark frontwoman Bwalya Sørensen and singer Randy Crawford with the text: ‘Whatever happened to Randy Crawford?’ (what happened really with Randy Crawford, ed.), and on Monday, shared Dan Rachlin a new entry:

‘Do you still use the term ‘a brown café’?,’ he wrote here.

Both the lookup has scored arouses strong feelings in people on the social media. In the comments on the two notices and on the social media Twitter, there are several who reaches out for the radio host and his sense of humor.

Dan Rachlin will also have support on the social media. Several users write, that the pictures of Randy Crawford and Bwalya Sørensen may is so-called fatshaming, if it is something – but not racism.

the radio host himself also stresses that in his eyes is not racist, since the Extra Leaf contact him and ask for the notices and responses.

– It is funny that one must find evidence to make completely innocent jokes. I’m well aware that the timing may seem provocative, but maybe it is such a kind of ‘my way to comment on what happens for the time being’, he says, and continues:

– I have several things to say about it. There are some very kampivrige girls and women – I do not know whether I insult them by calling them feminists too, but in each case the anti-racists – which makes a halvkoordineret attempt to challenge what I have made.

The two posters have given a lot of criticism and being called ‘racist’, ‘insensitive’ and ‘bigots’, says Dan Rachlin.

And can I just say, that I do not understand it, and I’m not on the galley. I have a Facebook profile, almost daily use of a kind of satire with comments and jokes about things happening in society, he says, and continues:

– I have over the years gotten big skældud of people from the Danish people’s Party, Tight Course and a New Civil and all sorts of on the right – and now I get so little from the other side.

Dan Rachlin admits that he thought that Monday’s comments about brown taverns could provide criticism – especially after last week’s picture.

– But I must just say that people’s focus is completely daft. There is indisputable racism in Danish society, and there is Bwalya Sørensen, who stands and mess up the people by naming names, and get both the colored and non-colored to be confused to the so-called demonstrations – for they desired, or they are not wanted?

He says that there are plenty of places in the Danish society, where dark people experience racism. That is the way people should instead use their focus.

He emphasizes that he does not feel that he owes an apology for the two lookups. And so, he makes it clear that he in no way sees himself as a racist.

– So, I’m the man who for 40 years have fought for the so-called black music – if one may call it that, for now I know that you are not allowed to call it urban more – as rap, soul, hip hop and everything the genre should be mainstream in this country. I have had both black and brown lovers, and my kids have a big, colorful circle of friends of all sorts of ethnicities, colors and sizes, so it is absolutely grotesque. I’m almost not answer it, he makes it clear.

the Extra Leaf has been in contact with Bwalya Sørensen, who do not want to comment on the case.
