Royalty The French police, the stolen diamond ring from the fiance of prince Jean-Christophe Napoléon found. The ring has a diamond of 40 carats and is estimated to be more than a million dollars. The jewel was stolen in Paris from the car of the couple.

Jean-Christophe Napoléon (32) is a descendant of Napoléon Bonaparte, and a direct descendant of Napoléon III. He is by his grandfather, appointed as head of the imperial French house of Bonaparte. Jean-Christophe Napoléon is engaged to countess Olympia von Arco-Zinneburg, daughter of the sister of prince Lorenz of Belgium, who himself is married with Astrid of Belgium, sister of king Philippe.

The imperial ring is set with a diamond of 40 carats coming from the crown of the last empress of France, Eugénie, wife of Napoléon III. The engagement ring was stolen from a bag that the couple in their Mercedes GL had left behind. The car was last Monday afternoon, – not closed – parked at the five-star Hotel d’aubusson in Paris. The thief had so free game, even though it remained the betrothed in the area of the car to keep an eye on.
