TV South Africa presents itself the last few years, as the country for tv-programs. First pulled ‘The Mole’ to it, then received Eric Goens there are familiar faces in the ‘House’. Tonight is the Dieter Coppens (41): for the second season of ‘Down The Road’, he went there on a tour in the company of six young people with Down’s syndrome.

The first season of ‘Down The Road’ was a shot in the rose. The high ratings and the many stirred reactions resulted, eventually, in a Golden Rose. And so collected Dieter Coppens again six young people with Down syndrome around him to make the journey of their lives. In South Africa this time. A conscious choice, says Dieter. “We have the globe really turned around and many options considered. But we had from the first season learned that it is not too hot, because in South of France we had this with Lisa to the doctor. South Africa proved to be ideal in september: the weather is nice during the day but not too hot, and in the evening it cooled right off.”
