A sixtieth anniversary marked by a flagship product for Ferrero: its famous Nutella spread… This time available in the form of a 470 ml iced jar for a recommended price of 4.89 euros. This new product should be available in the frozen section of various supermarkets from June 3, 2024.

To reproduce the taste of Nutella, Ferrero designed its pot with several layers. A first disc of Nutella, located under a layer of hazelnut flavored ice cream and crunchy pieces of the spread. All topped off with a final disc of Nutella at the end of the pot.

Ferrero intends to place its products in the frozen section. It was in 2021 that the confectioner launched its own ice cream brand in Europe, three years after the launch of Kinder ice creams in partnership with Unilever. To do this, the group has focused on some of its flagship products such as Ferrero Rocher and Raffaello. These first ice creams were therefore round and crunchy sticks available with flavors of these two chocolates known to the general public.

Finally, in 2022, Ferrero relaunched its Kinder ice cream, this time internalizing production. And it’s a success. According to the site specializing in consumption LSA, Kinder Bueno ice creams had 1.4 million consumers for a turnover of 13.6 million euros in 2023. It remains to be discovered whether the new Nutella ice cream to come will exceed this numbers.
