Inflation in Germany rose to 3.7% year-on-year in December, after five months of decline in a row, due to a rebound in energy prices, according to figures published Thursday.
The rise in consumer prices gained 0.5 percentage points compared to November, which had slowed to 3.2% year-on-year, the federal statistics institute Destatis said in a press release.
