Showbiz in The past year was top for Mathias Vergels (26), both on stage and in private. He played with them in The Colleague’s 2.0 and was father of son, Emile. His rebellious years are clearly behind him. “Now, Emile, there is, I want to be there for him.”
In July, you’re daddy has become Emile. How’s it going with him?
Very good. He eats fine, only sleep is sometimes difficult. But that’s true for virtually every baby, I think. And in one way or another I accept that difficult nights of him. I can’t be angry with him, how tired I sometimes am. If I see him, I am all week.
That sounds like paternity, you are very changed.
As a man I am much more fragile, but at the same time, I can easier put things into perspective, it is now running not only to me.
