Showbiz Studio 100 has great news. The renewed musical ‘Daens’ will run from 21 February 2020 in the Studio 100’s Pop-Up Theater in Puurs. Also the cast was announced.
Recently it became known that the leading role in the musical play for Peter Van de Velde, who is also currently seen as the father of the two protagonists in ‘40-45′. And also about that musical, there is news: Studio 100 announced just that the performances ‘40-45′ be extended to may 17, 2020. The spektakelmusical attracted to now, already 600.000 observing eyes.
Both musicals will be so in the same period. But how does than work out in practice? “There is alternating two weeks ‘Daens’ and two weeks ‘40-45′ played. Also, the ensemble of ‘Daens’ will be the same as that of ‘40-45’, only the hoofdcast will be different”, it sounds at Studio 100. In addition to Peter Van de Velde, who played the role of priest Daens will play, Jelle Cleymans and Free Souffriau in the musical. As in the original, ‘Daens’-musical from 2008 they will take the roles of Jan and Neat. Jo De Meyere creeps, just like 11 years ago, again in the skin of bishop Stillemans.
