Back to school is fast approaching, as is the end of summer vacation. We must therefore expect “difficult traffic in the direction of returns on Friday and Saturday”, warns Bison smart, who adds that it “will be wise, for the last holidaymakers, to avoid the surroundings of the major urban centers at the time peak hours”.

Friday, “traffic will be dense in the direction of returns”, with a day classified orange at the national level. In detail, traffic will be difficult in the afternoon and early evening in Île-de-France, “especially on the A10 motorway from Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines to Paris”. In Region-Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, traffic will be “very difficult”, mainly “on the A7 motorway between Orange and Lyon”. In the direction of departures, traffic should be fluid, “without any major difficulty at the national level”.

For the day of Saturday, we must once again expect “difficult traffic” at the national level, “with a day also classified orange”. In Île-de-France, “traffic will be complicated between the end of the morning and the evening”, in particular on the A10. “Traffic should also be very difficult in the Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne region on the A7 motorway between Orange and Lyon, between noon and the end of the day”, adds Bison Futé in his forecast.

The situation should return to normal on Sunday: Smart Bison expects normal traffic across the country that day.
