KV Oostende has come to an end, which means all players are now free agents. They are able to join any other club they choose.

Since the beginning of this month, KV Oostende no longer exists. The club was declared bankrupt, resulting in all activities being halted and all players being free to join another club. FCV Dender has announced on their official channels that they have signed Mohamed Berte, the former striker of KV Oostende, to a contract. He has signed on for a whopping three seasons with the newly promoted first division team.

“Last year, you could see Mohamed in action during matches against KV Oostende. He also spent part of his youth training with the coastal team,” they said. “In 2021, he was loaned out to FC Den Bosch for a season. The 22-year-old scored eleven goals and provided eight assists for KVO last season.”

Dender secured a direct ticket to the Jupiler Pro League by finishing second in the Challenger Pro League, following champion Beerschot. The club is excited to have Mohamed Berte on board as they prepare for their upcoming season in the top division.
