In addition to meeting new people, it is now possible to find a summer job directly on the Tinder application. In partnership with the government, the platform is launching a new campaign aimed at its French users aged 18 to 25.
From June 9 until July 31, different visuals will be displayed randomly between user profiles: “Struggling for your summer job?”, “Looking for an opportunity?” or “Join the adventure to create your future”.
By clicking on these thumbnails, young people will be directed directly to the 1jeune1solution platform. They will thus be able to find nearly 70,000 summer job offers. In the midst of a labor shortage, the proposals are multiple: waiter, cashier, housekeeper, truck driver, electrician, salesman, butcher or kitchen clerk. “Every year, one in two young people is looking for a summer job to gain useful professional experience, finance their holidays or save for the next school year”, indicates a Diplomeo study from 2018.
Launched in 2020, the 1jeune1solution site has already helped more than six million young people in the search for a job, internship or work-study offer. For Tinder France spokesperson, Benjamin Puygrenier, “by providing access to this platform, we hope to be able to help our members access the information and support needed to apply for their dream summer job and gain relevant professional experience. “.
