In the six years of the industry experts on the World Ski Awards nominated the world’s best players in the ski industry.

peak Season for ski resorts and places are here and all hope for a long and snowy winter. Fifteen players in the industry has been given some extra glitz and glam after the World Ski Awards placed them on its coveted list.
Val Thorens once again won the first prize for the best ski resort and five-star luxury hotel W Verbier in Switzerland took home the award for best ski hotel. The hotel has ”the perfect balance between contemporary design and Swiss tradition”. The hotel has 123 rooms and six different bars and restaurants are just a stone’s throw from the main lift system in Verbier.

World Ski Awards also designates the winner in the different countries and Sweden ended up in Åre in the top of the list of ski resorts. Åre is one of Sweden’s largest ski resorts has 41 ski lifts and 90 slopes, and there is something for everyone, whether you are a beginner or a pro on the slopes.
Best skidhotellet is Copperhill Mountain Lodge in Åre ski resort, with its 112 rooms and suites. There is also a spa, which won the prize as Europe’s best, restaurant, bar, ski rental, gym, activities and a private helipad. The hotel has stunning views of the mountains and ski-in/ski-out access to the whole of the Alpine ski station of the pirenees.
