Some kjendisfeider are more puzzling than others. For who had seen for themselves that popstjerna Jessica Simpson (38) and Hollywood actor Natalie Portman (37) got something to argue about?

It all started with the fact that the latter lined up in an interview with USA Today earlier this month, where she among other things stated the following:

Was one of the world’s biggest pop stars. Then disappeared Jessica Simpson abruptly

I can remember how it was to be a teenager and see the Jessica Simpson grace the front page of a magazine in a bikini, with the quote “I am virgin”. It made me confused, for I did not understand what message she wanted to send to me as a woman and girl.

Took it personal

the Answer was Portman after the above interview was on press. And it was a rather insult Simpson who took to social media to comment on the Portmans statements.

“I was disappointed when I read this. As public figures, we are both aware that we don’t always have control over the material published, and that the industry we belong to often try to define and put labels on us. I, however, raised to be myself, and respect all the ways that women want to express themselves on,” sputtered Simpson in a long Instagram post, where she further pointed out that it “does not always have to be about sex”.

“I am grateful to be able to be a role model for women, where I let them know that they can look exactly as they want, dress exactly as they want, and have sex with who they want. The power lies with us as individuals”.

Further emphasized the 38-year-old that it is not in her nature to “discredit other women and their choices.”

“Especially in these times, and with all the work you have laid down for women’s rights, I encourage you to show the same attitude”.

– We are allies

the Simpsons dire tirade probably came surprisingly on Portman, who went to paddeflat in a Twitter post the day after.
