Truls-Erik Thomassen was a superfan of “the Casino” when he was small, and used to sit glued in front of the screen when Flatland and Seyffarth rolled in time with his popular game show. His father was to be the audience in the hall, and had accidentally got an extra ticket, so Truls-Erik got to be with. The year was 1991.

After having guessed the price of an item, picked Truls-Erik out of three similar images from among the 12 possible doors. It took five attempts before he had won the car, which had a value of 125 000 at the time. It corresponds to 218 250 dollars today, if one calculates the inflation rate.
