It happened earlier in the week, as Miss Earth Lebanon, Salwa akar’s, posed for a photograph together with Miss Earth Israel, Dana Zreik. From the picture skønhedsdronninger arms around each other. And they provide both the so-called fredstegn to the camera.

And it was not long before the organization behind the Miss Earth in Lebanon reacted strongly to the picture and issued a press release to the local media, where they categorically rejected any relations with Israel, and at the same time they announced that they had deprived Miss Lebanon of her title.

yesterday confirmed the former Miss Lebanon Earth, Salwa akar’s, on his facebook, that she has been stripped of her title, but she plans to continue in a fun. On facebook wrote akar’s following:

‘I don’t need a ’title’ to be myself. I’m in the soul peaceful…and I will finish what I have started with or without your support and love… God is always beside me. He knows me better than anyone else..and he knows what is in my heart. About Shanti’.

The only 20-year-old israeli participating in a fun, Dana Zreik, in connection with the contest told me that she has had a normal and happy childhood. She hopes one day to become a fashion designer. She also has told, that she is proud to come from a historically rich region, where there also is a strong focus on organic farming.
