“Coster Waldau on Game of Thrones: ”the Perfect” end”
“When the ”Game of thrones” started, Nikolaj Coster Waldau, known back home in Denmark, and had done minor roles in English-language movies. The role of Jaime Lannister has made him a superstar – but now it is time to say goodbye to the viewers.”
“Jaime Lannister is one of”
“– Jaime is a good guy, even if he is in the first section does something horrible and trying to kill a child and say, ”what do I do not for love.” But he follows her line to her last scene in the series. He is a person who does things that are disgusting and things that are good, ” says Coster Waldau to the TT.”
“Not the least it is the relationship that Jaime has with her sister, she loathes her, as has been discussed. They have a sexual relationship and has had several children together. Before the last round, however, is the relationship tense. This is due not least to Jaime during the series ‘ time has changed – in many ways it is now Jaime and his brother Tyrion, who has become the moral heart of the series. Two people that viewers thought very badly of at the beginning have now become some of them you like the most.”
“Strong moral compass”
” I was really lucky with this character, I think he is so interesting. Even if it is unfolding in this crazy world, and his conditions are so extreme so we can still relate to him, ” says Nikolaj Coster Waldau who think that Jaime has a strong moral compass.”
“He believes that the key to the”
” We are accustomed to depictions of relationships on film and tv and it gets very fast as black or white, ”you betrayed me, now I love you no longer” type. In real life, if you lived a long time in a relationship, so you know that it is not so. You can be an awesome feud, and still get along, and then you have a new quarrel, and so are you sam, ” he says and continues:”
” Love is strange. The relationship between Jaime and she loathes her is really interesting. On the surface it is so snurrigt and they should not be together, it is easy to say so from the outside.”
“so far it is very few who know what’s going to happen in the last six sections, and the question of who will die or survive the upcoming battle against ”The White Walkers” will not be answered even in many weeks.”
“Nikolaj Coster Waldau tells us that he himself got a”
” and It was wonderful. It was the perfect way to… I can’t tell you how the scene looks, but it was perfect.”
“At that point, he had seen many of his colleagues were filming their last scenes. It had been a lot of tears, many fine speeches, and he knew what he had to wait – but I was still not prepared emotionally.”
” I don’t know what happened, it must have been some allergy, I must have got something in your eye. It was a wonderful experience. Ten years have passed, but if you go back ten years in the life, so you can see how life has changed you. Ten years ago, I had small children, now I have an 18-year-old daughter with a boyfriend. Life is like that. It was a wonderful day.”
” I feel relieved, I feel proud to have been a part of something that has made so great impression and who have become so successful. Less serious people could have decided to earn more money and make the series continue in four–five years. But they insisted that this was the story they wanted to tell, it would not be longer than this.”
“Through the years, it has won 47 Emmy awards, prizes and a Golden Globe.”
“In some of the leads are visible Kit robb’s wife, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Lena Headey. The series is created by David Benioff and DB Weiss.”
“The eighth and final season, has its world premiere on 14 april, and the day after it premieres in Sweden on HBO Nordic, C More.”
“Joe Dempsie (Gendry Baratheon):”
“– For me it has not been about ten years in a row, Gendry was with in the beginning and then came back in season seven. It still feels strange that it has come to an end now. I was at the premiere of the first episode of the final round in New York city, and now this weekend we have a big farewell party in Belfast. It is enough first, then it goes in.”
“John Bradley (Samwell Tharly):”
” I felt relieved when I read those last scripts. There have been so many tv series where the end has been so bad that it lowered everything has been in the past. But this is so good, we have made an end of which we are proud of and that I think most fans will like.”
“Gemma Whelan (Yara not preferable):”
“– my jaw dropped when I read the script. It is magnificent. We had all wondered how it would end, and what they have accomplished is so completely different from anything that any of us had been able to guess.”
” It was very emotional for me to make my final scene. The producers gave a speech for each of us and gave us the little memories to take with us. Otherwise, we could not take with us something, everything is supposed to travel around on the exhibits. Though I got the permission to take a pair of boots, there were duplicates.”
“Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont):”
“– We gathered all of them to read through the script for this season, something we have not done before. We read all the scripts together, and that tied us together. It was wonderful to get to share the story, to see what they had done. I know you can not satisfy everyone, there are always those who have questions, but I think they have accomplished a very good end. I can’t say anything about the content, but I think these six episodes are wonderfully written.”
“– as soon As I got the new script, it has first been to look through – I am going to die, will I survive?”
