The former american first lady Michelle Obama is a popular lady – at least judging from how many books she sells.

Her autobiography, ‘Becoming’, which in English has been given the title ‘My Story’, has two weeks sold over two million copies in the UNITED states and Canada.

The high sales figures cover both the printed books, e-books and audiobooks, communicate to her american publisher, Crown Publishing, according to the news agency AP.

Thus surpassing the interest in Michelle Obama’s book the spending, the americans showed for the former first lady and ex-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s autobiography.

Clinton’s book, ‘Living History’ from 2003, sold a million copies in the course of a month.

Michelle Obama’s autobiography appeared in a large number of countries all over the world the 13. november. It is so far published in the 3.4 million copies.
