school trips instead of tours, Crayons instead of beer: Before the 2012 was released the second Album “colour my kindness” of the British Band Basement, decided to singer Andrew Fisher, to be completed pedagogy studies. For punk rock, there was no time for more. The musicians were looking for Jobs, Fisher worked as a teacher. But the Fans didn’t want to forget the Basement.

And so decided to take the Englishmen to play in the summer of 2014, a couple of Shows. A year later, Fisher announced his position. Basement back. The band members all lived in England, made of nothing: the First song ideas were exchanged in a group chat.

After their third long-player “Promise Everything” (2016), the Band signed to Ramen a contract with Fueled By. The Label belongs to Warner Music Group. Many feared to have Basement to the Mainstream will be lost. However, under the Video, “Be Here Now” outweighs sound the positive Feedback: “the Basement is still the Basement,” said a User.

However, with their rich play of punk rock, reminiscent of Jimmy Eat World, can certainly be free to reach a wide audience. So also the “New Musical Express wrote,” this January: “the Basement could be England’s next big rock band.”

Since Green-Day-singer Billie Joe Armstrong hired the American Band personally, as a Support for a Show in Hyde Park, it runs for you around. In 2016, the band released the “Peach”.

The Lyrics deal with rising pension, deceased friends, and the deadly heart disease by David Kellings mother. The singer itself has a movement disorder. He wants to show with his performances, that even the physically impaired musicians can have success.

on the front line of Lande Hekt sings about the spent favorite club, your acute anxiety disorder, and her biological father – a thug, who denied you as a child, and her mother never supported. Bass, guitar, and drums beat furiously. Lande Hekt always sings in a surprisingly gentle song way, even lovely.
