What I would give, if I still had once a year with Daniel. I went the same morning to work. He’s a smart, quick-witted and very funny man. On his musical education and artistic skills, his uncomfortable political views, there is really nothing to argue. His home, the land of Israel, is about his commitment to peace in the Middle East, about his commitment to the divan orchestra is not at all pleased. And to top it all there is the depth of his talent for empathy.

As our highly honored concert master Batzdorf retired, was preparing Daniel for a truly unique farewell.
