The Swedish children’s books, which this year is nominated for the Nordic Council children and young adult literature is Lena Ollmarks and Per Gustavsson’s Augustnominerade horror novel ”The terrible story of the Little She was” (from 6 years) and Nina Ivarssons socialrealistiska debut novel ”Risulven Risulven” (from 9 years). Some additional Swedish-language books are nominated, Maria Turtschaninoffs ungdomsfantasy ”Letters from the Maresi” (2018) and åland Ann-Christin waller’s and Anni Wikbergs egenutgivna storybook ”On a trollsländas wings”.

the Prize is awarded in conjunction with the Nordic council session, which this year takes place in Stockholm on 29 October.
