They are counted as the pioneers of melodic death metal and have toured around the world several time. Now are In Flames, are back with album number 14. A lot has happened since the start in 1990. Today there are no appeared still there, even if Anders Fridén and Björn Gelotte got on the train pretty soon after the band was formed. Also musically there are differences.
– Now we are looking at music from a different perspective. I don’t mean good or bad, but the experience makes you play a certain way, ” says Anders Fridén.

– It is no surprise for people who know how In Flames are today. It is very melody, it has always been very melody. Then we have the typical, it is fast, there are moments when it is heavy with big choruses. It is a little bit of everything. We are a melodic metal band and I think we move freely within.

Sverigespelningar it will be in the future do not want to Anders Fridén reveal, but the two dates are safe. On 2 and 3 August they play at their own festival Borgholm Burns, which they founded last year.
