If I were the editor on a topical current affairs in Sweden, I would literally vacuum the universities, researchers and research projects – you do not need to have them only as studentspexare in the ”Question ” Lund” or ”On track”. I want to see them in the News, in the Report, in debattprogrammen, together with politicians: very happy with the politicians! And preferably in opposition to the journalists and the journalism that goes on the idle.
SVT:s ”world of ideas” got two seasons, but so did that also to yet another intellectual reserve. Unleash the scientists and intellectuals in the current debate, let them puncture the delusions and prejudices – it would in best case lead to so many political pyspunkor we could start ana real change.
