The first few seasons of ”So much better” had – perhaps because of the novelty – the ability to both create new stars and bring life into old careers. On the whole, it feels as if he is stuck halfway on the road to a working commercial expression, and a bit into the concert – when the acoustic guitar comes up and the band goes out, he loses the momentum.
Really lively publikrespons, it will be only when he plays ”So much better”-the material, like ”Play my favoritvals” and the funky ”Some loving”. A fundamental mistake is also to make him to the lonely star and the musicians to a true band, I think he’s got more energy to be one of the gang.
But life is long, and this is just the beginning of a promising career. A clearer direction would really be needed.
