When the 25-year-old Londonrapparen AJ Tracey play on the Kraken opens its doors only after ten and a bunch of live djs heat up the dance floor in a couple of hours before dressing, the Swedish afrobeats-inspired rappparen Ibbe, show up half an hour after midnight. He plays for ten minutes, then it becomes more a dance floor, before AJ Tracey finally go on at a quarter past one.
for this concept. On the one hand, it will be a painfully long night, on the other hand, is the concert loyal to this music information essence: it is a tribute to the night, to let go of all inhibitions and freaking out, to the funky hedonism. Grime is not a polite and sober style of music.
AJ Tracey, who for a couple of months ago released his fine debut album, is now no hard true grimeartist. Like many young Londonrappare has been going through the past few years he mixes relaxed his hometown intense rapstil with trap, pop and afrobeats. Live toned, however, the melodic parts of his songs down, and the wordy rapsvadorna will be in the foreground.
”the Ladbroke Grove’, a UK garage-scented tribute to the rapper home, the wonderfully villainous ”Buster cannon” which is a classic hooligan-the grime, and the poppigt sensual ”Butterflies”. But AJ Tracey rely not really on his own material to get started stockholm audience, and makes a few unnecessary break to play american hit songs by Travis Scott, Sheck Wes, XXXTentacion and ASAP Rocky.

E, which is very surprising bounds forward and in front of her hit ”Everything e in the middle” (with the line ”I’m ugly but I’m sexy”). A humble gesture of the evening’s protagonist, which, although it raises a lot of joy with the audience, but who vaguely resembles a surrender.
