As the Newspaper previously referred to, entered into the production company Filmkameratene already in 2016 an agreement with NRK to develop Michelets “A lake” as a drama. Since then they’ve worked with the series and waiting for the green light to put in the time.

– It is a pity that Jon Michelet does not get to experience this tv series. We want to make a dramaserie that would have made him proud, ” said producer John M. Jacobsen, of Filmkameratene as Michelet passed away in the last year.

They had all the way up to a half-year before Michelet died been in contact with the author, who worked closely with manusforfatterne Sølve Skagen and the Jarl Emsell Larsen.

Jacobsen told last year that the budget is on the whole 150 million, and that NRK, had to bind themselves to take half of the costs. This is confirmed by NRK today.

– NRK ever turn this seerrekorden, so is this series

Filmkameratene want to create drama of all the Michelets of six books about krigsseilerne. In season one, they look for eight episodes, the first of which is on 90 minutes and the remaining at a time.

– First season takes place in the first book (“Skogsmatrosen” 2012), as well as a chapter in book number two. If there are several seasons, depends on how successful the first being, ” said Jacobsen.

NRK has currently only given the go-ahead to a season. The goal is to have the series ferdigprodusert and sendeklar in the course of 2021 or 2022, according to NRK.
