“Renewable energy sources goes on coal in Germany,”

“Renewable energy sources accounted last year for just over 40 percent of Germany’s electricity production, according to a research report from the organisation Fraunhofer.”

“Thus, went to green energy, for the first time on coal, which accounted for 38 per cent, as the country’s largest energy source. Electricity from solar, wind and hydro power, and biomass increased by 4.3 per cent in 2018 and accounted for 219 twh of a total of 542.”

“in 2017 was green energy for 38.2 per cent of electricity production, and in 2010 only for 19,1.”

“the Increase means progress on the road to Germany’s goal that renewable sources should account for 65 per cent of the country’s energy in 2030, even if the skeptics are pointing that the increase is partly due to favourable weather conditions.”

“– We will not fall below 40 per cent in 2019 because the additional renewable power plant is being built, and the weather patterns will not change in any dramatic way, ” says Bruno Burger behind the Fraunhofers report.”
