Moland had with both Videbæk and producer Håkon Øverås at the award ceremony during the Berlin international film festival on Saturday evening. Videbæk is from Denmark.
– After a week with the fantastic response from the audience and an overall international push – and kritikerkorps, it is to be celebrated with the price in Berlin – in the competition with the highest standard of international films – the final touch, ” says Moland.
It is the fourth time the Moland being nominated in the main competition at the Berlinale, for “Kraftidioten”, “A rather gentle man” and “The Beautiful Country”.
this Year’s film “Out and stjæle hester” is based on a Per Pettersons best-selling book by the same name from 2003.
Three Norwegian films also competed in the barnefilmkonkurransen Generation Kplus in Berlin – where there are children and teenagers who make up the jury.
Where ended with honorable mention for the short film “Dad” by Atle S. Blakseth and Einar Dunsæd.
however, It was no distinction for the two other Norwegian contributions, “Månelyst in Pinchcliffe” by Rasmus A. Sivertsen and the short film “She-Pack” of Fanny Ovesen.
