Christian Bale has returned to play with the physical. This time the welshman has gained to give life in The vice of power to one of the politicians who has handled more power in the last half-century in the united States and, therefore, in the world: Dick Cheney. Cheney, after having been chief of staff and secretary of Defense, decided to accompany as vice president to George W. Bush, with one condition: not to be a charge almost honorific, as is usual in the U.S., but reserve plots for the government to stay under its strict control. And so it happened: during his eight years in office, highlighted their counter-terrorism initiatives, among which were the use of new espionage tactics, the invasion first of Afghanistan and then of Iraq, Deneme Bonusu and the incorporation of the “program of interrogation improved”, which was based on the use of waterboarding: put the head of the tortured in buckets or tanks of salt water or any other fluid.
Bale has been directed by Adam McKay, with the already rolled The big bet, and next to him in the distribution of The defect of power are Sam Rockwell as George W. Bush; Steve Carell, as the secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld; Bill Pullman, as Nelson Rockefeller; Amy Adams, who will give life to the wife of Cheney, Lynne, and Tyler Perry as Colin Powell. The film opens on the 11th of January, 2019, and here we have exclusive in its trailer.
