Up to one and a half million danes are sitting on Monday evening ready to follow in dramaerne and intrigerne on ‘fawlty towers’, and now there is good news for all the fans of the series from the roaring north sea.
TV2 has just published, that we should not wait so long before mr. Madsen and Amanda return on-screen, writes tv2.dk.
28. January kicks off the TV2 up for the sixth season of ‘fawlty towers’, and there has been a bit since season five ended.
As Ekstra Bladet has written earlier, have the series be a trip in the time machine and jumps for six years. It means that ‘fawlty towers’ will be resumed in 1939.
– We are defected six years, and it is, therefore, just before the war breaks out, so there are some external things that affect it all. Hitler haunts a little. And then there’s of course all the drama that used to be internally, has the actor Anne Louise Hassing previously told.
It is Hanna Lundblad and the Stig Thorsboe, who are the authors behind the ‘fawlty towers’. About the jump in time, says to tv2.dk:
– We gave, of course, ourselves a challenge as we decided to skip the six years of the action, but it has been fun to look at all of the celebrity characters in the new and say: What has happened to each one of you in the meantime? Where are they right now? But first, and lately it has been extremely interesting to lead the action up in a time that suddenly brings the outside world into in a new way, they say.
the End of season five ended dramatically, when Eight Frigh played by Bjarne Henriksen died. Thus he assumes out of the series, which also Rosalinde Mynster has chosen to say goodbye to. Also Anders Juul, who plays the role of Max Berggren, have chosen to thank.
