the lead singer of The former British New Wave Band Talk Talk, Mark Hollis, is dead. The Frontman of the with Hits like “It’s My Life” and “such a Shame” known Band, has died at the age of 64 years.
This is the former Talk Talk Bassist Paul Webb wrote on Facebook. “He was a musical genius, and it was an honor and a privilege to be with him in a Band.”
information on the cause of death, Webb made it. Hollis’ Management could not be reached for comment.
Talk Talk was founded in 1981 in London, and had with his Synth-Pop music Europe, great success. With the 1986 Album “The Colour of Spring” turned to the musician, more of Improvisation, and were thus the pioneers of Post-Rock. In 1991 the Band dissolved.
The 1955 in Tottenham-born Hollis brought out in 1998, a Solo Album, but then disappeared largely from the Public. (fal/chk/sda)
